New Filters Plus was envisioned and founded by a couple of regular guys with families, kids, pets and busy lives just like you… Here is the story that launched our company.
It all started one fall day when I remembered (and I stress remembered) to change our home air filters. We have several dogs and our filters were pretty dirty and needed replacing. I know its recommended to replace your filters monthly to maximize system efficiency, air quality, save on your utility bills, etc. Sure, but honestly who remembers to do that?
I made the trip down to our local “big box” store to buy some air filters. Piece of cake, right? After staring at the different sizes, ratings, percentages, colored bar codes, pleated ones, carbon filters and washable ones I was exhausted. I bought two standard, pleated filters for over $40, headed home mad and grumpy at the experience and cost. I thought to myself there has to be an easier, more affordable way to buy replacement filters.
I jotted down some notes, did a ton of research, gathered feedback from my wife, HVAC contractors, close friends, marketing guys and we decided to launch New Filters Plus. Hopefully our website makes it easy, convenient to buy our high quality, American-made air filters, for less in the comfort of your own home and have them delivered to your door! If for some reason you are not 100% satisfied with our service, your membership can be canceled at anytime, no questions asked.
